Ascent Primary Care is an independent primary care practice that opened in January, 2025. This is the home of Dr. Mark Niehaus, who has been practicing in Central Virginia since 2003. Ascent is a part of Privia Health, and Dr. Niehaus will continue to be affiliated with Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital and specialists.
We are accepting a limited number of new patients based on appointment availability. Please call to inquire about new patient availability. If you are a former patient of Dr. Niehaus and have not yet transferred your care, please contact us.
